Pixelpond's license stance is designed to be low-friction for creators shipping finished work, while protecting against redistribution as a competing asset library.
Standard should be simple
Paid packs include commercial use with no attribution required. That covers personal work, client projects, finished apps, games, websites, watch faces, mockups, videos, and streams.

Redistribution is the risk boundary
The extended license is for products where the icons can be accessed, extracted, selected, or reused by your customers.
- Templates and themes.
- Plugins and icon pickers.
- Builders, white-label tools, and bundled asset libraries.
Sampler icons stay useful
Free samplers can be used commercially, but only for the sampler files. They cannot be repackaged, resold, uploaded as another icon pack, or included in redistributable libraries.
